Purpose:
The pump unit is one of the main equipment in the cooling water system of pressurized water reactor nuclear power plants. Its function is to transport equipment cooling water during normal operation, shutdown, and various accident conditions of nuclear power plants, to cool the equipment of various auxiliary systems and safety related systems in the primary circuit.
Structural Characteristics
Safety level, seismic category, and quality assurance level. This device belongs to the safety level 3 pump, and the pump motor belongs to the 1E level motor. The seismic requirement for the pump unit is SSE. The quality assurance requirements of the equipment should comply with the provisions of IAEA IAEA50-C/SG-Q-1996 “Safety and Quality Assurance for Nuclear Power Plants and Other Nuclear Facilities”, with a quality assurance level of QA2. The cooling water pump of NADS 110-50 equipment is a horizontal, single-stage, double suction, and split centrifugal pump. The suction and discharge pipelines of the pump are both located below the pump axis, in a horizontal direction, perpendicular to the axis. The split surface of the pump body and pump cover is on the axis, in a horizontal direction, making it easy to open. When repairing the pump, there is no need to disassemble the suction and discharge pipelines, making maintenance extremely convenient. From the transmission direction, the pump rotates counterclockwise. The supporting motor adopts horizontal, AC, and induction motors. The pump and motor are directly connected using a diaphragm coupling. The hydraulic part adopts the currently safe and mature hydraulic models internationally, which are efficient and energy-saving; Supporting form: Two end supporting method, using rolling bearings, easy and fast installation, high reliability, long service life.
